Canadian Maple Latte
A sweeter, Canadian take on a classic, a Canadian Maple Latte is a latte with a shot of maple syrup.
Ingredients:
- Espresso
- Maple Syrup
- 2% milk by default, but can be modified to customer’s milk of choice.
To make a medium Canadian Maple Latte, use a 12 oz latte bowl if ordered to stay, or a 12 oz paper cup if ordered to go.
- Prep a standard steaming pitcher with 9 oz of milk.
- Pull a double short (2 oz) shot of espresso into a cup.
- Add 3 pumps (3/4 oz) of maple syrup to be mixed into the espresso.
- Steam and aerate milk to latte texture at 65°C or 150°F.
- Pour your milk over the espresso into the cup and finish with latte art.
To make a large Canadian Maple Latte, use a 16 oz glass if ordered to stay, or a 16 oz cup if ordered to go.
- Prep a standard steaming pitcher with 11.5 oz of milk.
- Pull a double long (3 oz) shot of espresso into a cup.
- Add 4 pumps (1 oz) of maple syrup to be mixed into the espresso.
- Steam and aerate milk to latte texture at 65°C or 150°F.
- Pour your milk over the espresso into the cup and finish with latte art.
