Atwood Blend

This coffee blend, created in collaboration with Margaret Atwood and certified by the Smithsonian Institution as Bird Friendly, has been specifically chosen to raise awareness and funds for the Pelee Island Bird Observatory (PIBO). The Bird Friendly certification, developed by Smithsonian scientists in the late 1990s, is the most effective certification in conserving habitat for birds and protecting migratory songbirds. Bird Friendly-certified habitat provides a diverse mix of foliage cover, tree height, and biodiversity that creates a high-quality habitat for birds and other wildlife. The program also offers farmers a premium for their products and serves as a valuable tool in fighting climate change due to its stringent growing standards.
