Chai Latte
The Chai Latte is made using organic chai concentrate and 2% steamed milk, but can also be substituted for non-dairy milk.
Ingredients:
- 2% milk by default, but can be modified for an alternative milk of the customer’s choosing.
- Chai Concentrate: Black tea*, cardamom*, black pepper*, cloves*, vanilla bean* and ginger*. After steeping this chai is filtered and sweetened with evaporated cane juice* and molasses* and then rounded off with a tiny but of lemon juice concentrate*. Kosher, Gluten Free. (* Organic).
To make a medium chai latte, use a ceramic latte bowl if ordered to stay, or at 12 oz paper cup if ordered to go.
- Prep a standard steaming pitcher with 9 oz of milk.
- Add 2.5oz of Chai concentrate to the steaming pitcher.
- Steam the mix to standard temperature 65°C or 150°F.
- Pour mix into the cup to finish the drink.
To make a large chai latte, use a 16 oz glass if ordered to stay, or a 16 oz paper cup if ordered to go.
- Prep a standard steaming pitcher with 12 oz of milk.
- Add 3.5 oz of Chai concentrate to the steaming pitcher.
- Steam the mix to standard temperature 65°C or 150°F.
- Pour mix into the cup to finish the drink.
Note: The chai concentrate contains sugar, if the customer wants this drink to be made sugar-free, offer a regular chai tea with steamed milk.
