- Pour the milk into the cup and leave 1 inch for toppings
Toppings:
- Top the hot chocolate with whipped cream. (Circle the edge of the cup first to create a barrier so that the liquid does not overflow, then start making a peak in the centre)
- Neatly drizzle chocolate sauce over the whipped cream
- Add 2 half pieces of graham crackers to the whipped cream
- Add 1 large marshmallow to the whipped cream and toast using the gas canister.
MARSHMALLOW TOASTING
How to toast the marshmallow:
- Turn on the butane torch and lightly run the flame over the marshmallow. The marshmallow only needs to be lightly toasted. As soon as you have some colour you can stop toasting. Please avoid setting marshmallows on fire. (In case you do, DO NOT BLOW IT OUT— let the flame go out on its own.
- Turn off the butane torch.
How to use the torch:
- Turn the dial on the side of the nozzle until you hear a slight whistle. The more you turn the dial, the stronger the flame will be – the best practice is to start small.
- Using a barbeque lighter, turn the lighter on directly in front of the torch nozzle. A flame will emerge from the torch. ALWAYS POINT THIS AWAY FROM YOU.
- When done, turn the dial on the side of the nozzle back off.
